Courtney Sell is a creative and innovative independent filmmaker based in Los Angeles. His fils are deeply inspired by his interest in High Magick, esoteric literature, astral projection and ancient philosophy and his own spiritual practices,. As you will gather from this podcast episode, his excitement and devotion to his work is truly inspiring and very clearly his mission here on earth. About Courtney:
Courtney Sell is a prolific filmmaker and writer currently residing in Hollywood, California. Recognized for his critically acclaimed documentary and experimental films, Sell’s vast filmography has been screened around the world, archived at the New York Film-makers Coop and he is the first filmmaker ever to have his body of cinematic work archived and preserved at the historic Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles founded by esoteric author Manly P. Hall. He is the author of “Filming the Formless - stories of creative and spiritual growth from a once down-and-out filmmaker” and a collection of his earliest documentaries was recently released on VOD. Sell’s recent film work is deeply inspired by his interest in High Magick, esoteric literature, astral projection and ancient philosophy and through his spiritual practices, Sell creates new material daily. His new book “Cultivating the Creative Spirit through Film” is due out this spring through the Philosophical Research Society and will be accompanied by an online course.
